I enrolled to Sacramento State as a Mechanical Engineering major, however, I realized after my first semester that it was not the right major for me. While I knew I wanted to do something in STEM, I was unsure of exactly what at that time.
At Dynamisoft, I have had major opportunities to grow as a developer. My largest and most critical project I have primarily developed myself is Dynamisoft Shipping, a shipping software that integrates with LTL carriers and company trucks for one of our main customers. Through working with a third party logistics company and the customer, we have delivered a valuable shipping product that has helped them save money on rates and provide transparency concerning rate cost decisions. Another notable project involved creating a real time Shopify and Onfleet integration to sync data with our flagship WMS product, megaTrak. I was tasked with importing Shopify orders and products into megaTrak, then automating task creation in Onfleet (a truck delivery management system), and finally allowing task-worker assignments to be imported back into megaTrak (e.g. import tasks 1-10 for driver A, tasks 11-20 for driver B, etc...). To learn more about each of these projects and more, navigate to the "My Work" section.
At Wizrds LLC, a Mister Waverly Company, I increased my knowledge of web development and mainly utilized the MERN web stack. When I designed the server-side code of the company website, I used PHP to create a notification system that sent client project requests to the company email. On one customer project, I was tasked with creating an event notification desktop app that utilized the Twilio API for sending SMS messages.
I was hired as an intern at Mister Waverly Incorporated to assist in a web app project for a non-profit. I provided assistance for the server-side application, writing different REST API routes for the React.js app to call. Some of the endpoints I wrote included blog post searching, event calendar retrieval, and blog comment modification/deletion.
Dynamisoft Shipping is the main project I have developed and maintained during my employment at Dynamisoft. It is a multifaceted shipping application designed to interface with LTL carriers, company trucks, and our customer's ERP system for order synchronization.
The Shopify/Onfleet Integration for megaTrak was my first major project I was responsible for implementing. It gave me a great deal of experience with integrating incompatible systems and APIs together.
When I took an upper division data structures and algorithms university course, I decided to create a visualization of the DFS algorithm using a maze editor. I recently improved the app and have deployed it on this site.
Atoms is a flexible and atomic .NET Core ORM for SQL Server that I was motivated to develop to make common CRUD operations more simple and elegant.
